Mighty J, formed in 2006, is a collaborative musical effort between three women who are already well established in Hawaii's music industry - Mailani Makainai (Keahiwai), Tiki Suan (Milo Shade) and Jen "jRoQ" Wright (Kanalo and Simple Souls). Together they form Mighty J to create a unique "World Music" sound that is rooted in the soul of Hawaii. Their usage of different types of instruments and infusion of different genre knows no bounds. The Mighty J CD is under record label, Daddy Records. It is produced and engineered by Dr. Trey.
