Okay so just a few weeks ago I posted that I won a trip to Seattle and a chance to attend Gnomedex 9.0, which by the way I leave for tomorrow. Well yesterday as luck has it, I won another great stay! This time at the Marriott Waikoloa, which happens to be my FAVORITE place to stay on the Big Island of Hawaii! It was a giveaway at another one of our infamous tweetups we enjoy and love so much here in the islands. This one however was both funny in how it went down for me and also surprising to not only me, but everyone else since I just recently won the Seattle trip.
So here's sort of how it went down:
- I just got home from work and tweeted this.
- @marriotthawaii tweets me back this.
- @danzelikman tweets me back this.
- So what do I do? I grab a quick shower and jump in the car and I'm off to Waikiki.
- I arrive at the Marriott in Waikiki at just about 6:20pm and grab a drink and some food.
- A short while later, the drawing for prizes takes place and this is what happened.
